Introduction:

These kites may be old by kiting standards but they can still cut their own with the rest of the kites around.

Packaging, Style + Construction:

The X-Series as strong as a truck, it comes in a simple backpack style bag with mesh sides to let out excess sand and water, the colour scheme is basic but good, black tips and black cells in the centre with another colour in the rest.

Jumping:

The X-Series takes a while to get going, but the XL upwards will give you plenty of lift and floatiness if you force it to, otherwise it'll sit as sweet as you like, it seems to be a slightly different foil than others, by pulling the brakes on theres a bit between brakes, and power, which reduces the power so you can launch it in the higher winds.

KiteATB’ing:

Because of its quite high Aspect Ratio these kites will pull you around fast, accelerating up to full speed in seconds then your ready to catch and edge and pop of the ground for your next trick. The X-Series doesn't luff as such, it loses pressure on itself every now and then but drops back into the window to go again.

Final Summary:

If your looking for a solid alrounder to get you started in KiteATB'ing then the X-Series should be one of your first choices, if you get one, or have a go of one, you'll rarely forget it.
