Introduction:

Peter Lynn is a legend in himself. He has been producing kites since long before I was born and has been at the top of the power kite craze ever since it started. His latest kite to be released is the new Rebble. Designed primarily for buggying, landboarding and snow kiting it is set to be one of the most versatile kites available.

Packaging, Style + Construction:

I flew a very early demo kite which had no bag or accessories! So cant comment there. The kite on the other hand looked fantastic. The smooth colour pattern and slick profile really works and makes the kite appeal before getting on the end of it. The build quality looked superb with a lot of reinforcements etc.

Jumping:

I flew this kite in around 2-4mph of wind so jumping wasn't an option but I am told by Wind Designs that it is not a kite designed for jumping.

Flying:

Again - the low winds didn't allow any boarding to take place but from flying it I would say that the 6.5m version would have got me going in those light breezes.

Final Summary:

The performance of the kite was fantastic. Very fast through the air with nice tight turns. It was very efficient with a lot of power for the size of kite. It was very stable and I found it hard to luff. Overall I was very impressed with the kite and I can see it becoming a strong contender for the beginner-intermediate kite ranges.
