A good review. I did a single testflight with the pulse and concluded it flew beautifully. BUT: the amount of bridling, lines and pulleys only seems to be on the increase, use of the 5th 'safety' line leads to a propelloring kite leaving the biggest tangle I've ever had on a flysurfer. All in all my feeling was that the virtues of simplicity and reliability were not present in the Pulse and I'd be worried taking it out.

UPDATE: I found that I have an early pulse. I have heard later Pulses come with the stability mod built in. Basicially if the kite shows instability do the mod if not then don't bother. Still loving this kite
