Type Of Kite:

Non – Water Re-launchable Foil

Introduction:

The new Bullet is blowing away the competition with all buggiers and recreational flyers out there who see to like the look and pull which it gives, but even though they like it, will it help the world of KiteATB along?

Packaging, Style + Construction:

The Bullet from Flexi' comes with the usual stuff you get, the sleek curved stripe of colour right along the leading edge seems more favoured than the colour tips which can be seen on the Blade ranges and that alone seems to be going down a hit with new flyers. Construction is great, but still not quite up to paraglider standards, but then again, what is?

Jumping:

Though the Bullets only go up to 4.5m and you don't normally expect them to let you float around a lot, its surprising how floaty they are, though i doubt they'll get you up that extra few feet that you always crave for, still, for a bit of fun and high wind flying you can still go high!

KiteATB’ing:

The Bullets are designed to be sold with either Handles or Bar (which isn't out yet), presumably so you can buggy for a while then throw the bar on and get some nice grabs'n'stuff with the board, since the handles are the only way they come at themoment It was only possible to try it with them.
The Bullets are fast through the air and fly well if you want to get some good sharp power increases to rocket you off in the right direction, but if you want jumps, look somewhere else, though the Bullets will lift you up, you wont really get there long enough to do anything interesting unless you go out in really stupid winds with them, then it starts to get fun

Final Summary:

Stability on the Bullets is rock solid until you start to get into the harsh gusty conditions, then as soon as you get moving at a reasonable pace, the thing will luff out on you and you'll be hopping off the board quickly so you don't get yanked into a face plant as it powers up and the board digs in. Otherwise this is a great kite for speeding along in steady winds but unless you get really serious about the wind speed your not going to get any staggering jumps.
So if your out for a new kite, want to have a good laugh yanking yourself along the ground or you want speed more than big airs on the board, go for it and have a laugh!
