If you've heard the local boarders at your spot talking about being able to cruise underpowered then power up to go massive for a jump then you've been hearing about de-power systems, heres some pros and cons for Fixed Bridle Vs. Depower Bridles

Pros of Constant Power:

• Not as much thought needed to control the turning and power
• More solid feeling connection with the Kite.

Pros of De-Power:

• Possibility of going out with a larger kite than usual.
• Ability to go higher and stay in the air longer due to using the larger sized kite.
• Less interference from gusts.

Cons of Constant Power:

• Inability to slightly De-Power the Kite in overpowered conditions.
• More sensitive to gusts.

Cons of De-Power:

• Sometimes feels 'Spongy' to fly.
• Can be confusing if user is used to
• Constant Power kites.
